RSHO-X™ is the first cannabis product allowed into Mexico, creating a notable precedent in a country with a rocky relationship with marijuana. Distributed by Medical Marijuana, Inc. portfolio company HempMeds® Mexico, RSHO-X™ was formulated to be completely free of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound in marijuana that gets users high, in order to fit Mexico’s tight restrictions on products exported to the country. All the families highlighted in the piece from ABC 10 News are linked in their search for effective treatment for their daughters’ epilepsy. This includes HempMeds® spokesperson Brian Higuera, whose daughter Sadie suffers from intractable seizures but has found relief from Real Scientific Hemp Oil™ (RSHO™). When interviewed for the segment, Medical Marijuana, Inc. CEO Dr. Stuart Titus reflected on the potential benefits cannabidiol (CBD) holds for Mexico and its citizens. In the wake of these recent approvals for RSHO-X™ in the country, Mexico has opened discussion of extensive cannabis reform to move past a culture of prohibition. The first company to provide medical cannabis products in the country, HempMeds® Mexico’s knowledgeable bilingual staff is on hand to help qualified patients in Mexico access RSHO-X™, the first THC-free hemp oil product on the market.
